A Kansas City based law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal who has civil litigation defense experience to support a distinguished team of trial attorneys. The ideal Litigation Paralegal will be proficient in managing case documentation, coordinating discovery, and assisting with trial preparation in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment dedicated to achieving complete client vindication.

Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities

• Review and draft routine legal documents
• Create and maintain case files
• Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
• Conduct legal research

Litigation Paralegal Requirements

• Experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably with medical malpractice, personal injury, or any practice area on the defense side as it relates to medical professionals.
• Associate's, Bachelor's degree or a Paralegal certificate is NOT not required, but preferred. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office suite, and case management software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
• A demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal support in a successful Civil Litigation law firm.
