A Labor & Employment Attorney is needed in Chicago for a full-time position with an AmLaw 100 law firm. This role offers the opportunity to join a leading practice group and handle complex employment matters in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

 

Labor & Employment Attorney Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-stakes labor and employment cases.
  • Independently manage routine and complex matters, including wage-hour disputes, class actions, and policy reviews.
  • Conduct investigations and respond to administrative charges.
  • Draft and review essential legal documents, including motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.

 

Labor & Employment Attorney Qualifications

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic background.
  • Illinois bar admission or ability to waive in.
  • 5+ years of substantive labor and employment litigation experience.
  • Proficiency in handling single-plaintiff cases, wage-hour issues, and class/collective actions.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
