Responsibilities

Test & Automation: Develop software and operating instructions for automated test equipment (ATE) to validate electrical performance.

Line Ownership: Manage technical operations for two or more primary assembly lines, acting as the bridge between design engineering and the production floor.

Tooling Design: Create specialized jigs, fixtures, and fabrication aids to facilitate precision assembly and electrical testing.

Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex electrical failures discovered during the manufacturing process, utilizing schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB design knowledge.

MRB Authority: Represent Operations on the Material Review Board (MRB) to investigate and determine the disposition of non-conforming materials.

Optimization: Lead Lean/Six-Sigma initiatives to improve production quality, drive down costs, and optimize the test-to-deployment cycle.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) is mandatory.

Experience: 5–10 years in a manufacturing or test engineering role, ideally within Aerospace or Defense.

Circuitry Expertise: Deep experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Software/CAD: Proficiency in PCB design software and automated testing interfaces.

Communication: Ability to instruct technicians and collaborate with Design Engineers on "Design for Manufacturability" (DFM) feedback.
