Manager, Corrugated Retail Displays

Indianapolis, Indiana

100-120K + Bonus + Paid Relocation 

You will lead a team of project coordinators and customer account coordinators, whose mission is to facilitate the execution of complex customer orders for point-of-purchase displays and specialty packaging. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver on client commitments and maintain our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and Mentor: Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance on sourcing, estimating, order entry, and execution. You'll be responsible for their safety, productivity, and professional development.

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire order lifecycle from start to finish. This includes developing order specifications, coordinating design requests, quoting and cost estimating, and managing all order entry and closure details.

  • Strategic Coordination: Act as a critical liaison between sales, design, plant production, and external vendors and clients. You will lead daily production meetings to ensure a coordinated information flow and on-time delivery.

  • Client Relationship Management: Support sales initiatives and build strong, lasting relationships with clients and vendors. You'll proactively respond to inquiries and skillfully resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine project management processes to enhance efficiency, eliminate rework, and ensure every detail is handled with precision.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong blend of leadership, technical knowledge, and project management skills.

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with at least 5+ years of successful professional experience in a leadership role within a retail customer service or B2B inside sales team.

  • Demonstrated experience in corrugated packaging production and a deep understanding of the retail marketplace.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening communication skills are a must, as you will be the hub of communication for all stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to solve complex problems, analyze data, and manage multiple projects under pressure.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheets) and the aptitude to learn industry-specific software packages.

  • The flexibility and dedication to do what it takes to meet client expectations, which may include extended or non-standard hours.
