Regional Administrator (Ambulatory Surgery Centers)

In this role, you will provide leadership and operational oversight for two distinct, high-performing facilities in the Modesto area:
Both facilities are physician-owned partnerships, requiring a leader who excels at balancing clinical excellence with the business objectives of our physician partners.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Operations: Lead the daily operations of multiple facilities, ensuring staffing, equipment, and workflows are optimized for patient safety and physician satisfaction.

Financial Performance: Manage full P&L responsibility for the region. Develop annual operating and capital budgets, monitor financial metrics, and implement cost-containment strategies.

Physician Partnership: Collaborate closely with physician owners and governing boards. Manage medical staff relations, credentialing, and board meetings to ensure transparency and alignment.

Compliance & Quality: Maintain "survey-ready" status at all times, ensuring both facilities meet or exceed regulatory, accreditation (AAAHC/ACHC), and internal quality and safety standards.

Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead facility administrators. Oversee workforce planning and foster a culture of professional growth and performance excellence.

Market Growth: Partner with the Home Office to identify new service line opportunities and operational improvements to drive regional performance.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 5–7 years of leadership experience in a surgical setting.

Industry Expertise: Direct experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership is preferred. Candidates with hospital surgical leadership will be considered if they have demonstrated ASC exposure.

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.

Soft Skills: Proven ability to manage complex relationships in a physician-partnership model. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Residency: Ability to work on-site in Modesto, CA.
Compensation & Benefits
$150,000-$200,000
