Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework, troubleshooting, and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

 

Essential Functions:
RF / Microwave Testing:
Position Stabilization:
Has a basic understanding of gyro stabilization, and positioning loops. Able to use basic test equipment to verify functionality of components. Works with assembly to null synchro's and align gyroscopes.

 

Communication Systems:
Component & Sub-Assembly Level Testing:
Unit Level / System Level Testing:

High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or Associate Degree with experience
Ability to read and understand blueprints, operation data sheets & computerized instructions
Ability to obtain a secret clearance which requires US Citizenship

 

Soft skills (I.E. Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication…)
