The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass:

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and precision repairs on high-capacity industrial automation, complex robotics, and integrated manufacturing systems
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, performing advanced troubleshooting and system optimizations
  • Read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints and sophisticated electrical schematics to resolve high-level system failures
  • Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance and repairs on AC/DC systems, advanced pneumatics, and hydraulic circuitry
  • Utilize precision welding and fabrication skills to modify equipment or repair critical machine components
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and provide technical mentorship to junior technicians when necessary

 

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

  • 10+ years of industrial machinery maintenance experience, specifically in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Proven mastery in troubleshooting automated machinery and robotics (hands-on PLC experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens is required)
  • Advanced proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and complex electrical schematics
  • Strong hands-on background in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems (AC/DC)
  • Demonstrated welding and fabrication experience as it relates to machinery repair
  • A stable and consistent work history (no "job-hopping")
  • A US citizen or possess a green card
  • A residence within 45 minutes
