The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Execute precision order fulfillment by accurately selecting finished goods from stock using advanced handheld scanning technology and tablets
- Master the logistics workflow, including the professional packing, sealing, labeling, and stenciling of high-quality goods for global shipment
- Manage shipping documentation such as packing forms, bills of lading, and digital records for major carriers like UPS and FedEx
- Operate specialized material-handling equipment, including electric pallet riders and forklifts, to safely move and position inventory for distribution
- Maintain a high-efficiency workspace by adhering to 5S organizational standards and collaborating with the warehouse team to meet daily production goals
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- A proven track record of strong attendance and reliability; this is the most critical requirement for our team
- Experience in "true" order picking, including the ability to follow detailed digital picking processes and use warehouse inventory software
- Basic mathematical proficiency (fractions, decimals, and percentages) and the ability to read complex shipping documents
- Physical capability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift items up to 70 lbs in a dynamic warehouse environment
- A positive, collaborative attitude with the communication skills necessary to work side-by-side with industry specialists
- A stable work history and a residence within a 30-minute drive of the Germantown, WI area
