Location: Remote – Must reside on the East Coast
Compensation: $90K–$140K base (commensurate with experience in flexible packaging) + uncapped commission
Total earnings for top performers: $150K–$200K+
The Role
We’re hiring an experienced territory sales manager to oversee and expand business across the East Coast. This role is built for someone with a strong background in flexible packaging sales who thrives in a high-autonomy, field-based role. You’ll manage key customer accounts while developing new business across manufacturing sectors, supported by an inside sales and leadership team that knows when to step in—and when to let you lead.
You’ll travel as needed (about 50%) and operate independently, running your territory like it’s your own business. For the right person, this is a serious income opportunity and a long-term home within a family-run company that values people and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Manage a multi-state sales territory with a mix of active clients and target accounts
· Identify, approach, and win new business in the flexible packaging space
· Sell a broad line of packaging products, with a focus on custom and specialty solutions
· Oversee the full sales process—prospecting, quoting, closing, and post-sale support
· Maintain accurate CRM entries (Salesforce or similar) to track activity and pipeline
· Provide clear updates to leadership, including travel schedules, sales metrics, and key opportunities
· Coordinate site visits, plant tours, and meetings with support from inside sales and customer service
· Work collaboratively with the VP of Sales to refine strategy and grow revenue in your region
What You Bring
· Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
· Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience, including at least 2 years in flexible packaging, medical device, or related industrial manufacturing
· Proven success in managing large territories and developing business at both the distributor and end-user level
· Strong organizational habits and communication skills
· Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
· Comfortable with regular travel (50%) across the East Coast
· Self-directed, motivated, and driven by results
