Compensation: $350K - $385K+ per year
We are seeking an innovative and energetic Physician who enjoys professional autonomy and working with a supportive, caring group of healthcare professionals! You’ll join a growing Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center in beautiful rural Eastern Oregon. You will play a key role in growing our behavioral health and primary care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient population
- Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress to ensure therapeutic efficacy and safety
- Partner with Primary Care providers and Behavioral Health specialists to provide a "whole-patient" approach to health
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders)
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the behavioral health team, contributing to workforce training and the development of clinical protocols
- Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate clinical charting
- Provide consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center environment when psychiatric expertise is required for acute patient stabilization
- Participate in community-based initiatives to reduce the stigma of mental health and improve access to care in the region
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency in Psychiatry
- Active, unrestricted State Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry
- Strong skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented environment
Compensation & Benefits
