Neurosciences Physician Assistant - Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed Neurosciences team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of specialists to provide exceptional healthcare services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on Neurosurgery and Neuroendovascular care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological conditions.
- Provide patient education, counseling, and case management to enhance health promotion and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure seamless patient care in various clinical settings.
- Assist in surgical procedures and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
Position Details:
- Full-time, hospital-employed position with no travel required.
- Monday through Friday schedule with a 1:3 weekend call rotation; no night calls.
- Primarily hospital-based with occasional clinic responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
- Current board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Active license or eligibility to obtain a license in the state of Alabama.
- Experience in Neurosurgery, Neurology, or a related specialty is preferred.
- Strong clinical, procedural, and teamwork skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
