Position Overview:
A leading hospital system in Las Vegas is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join a high-performing radiology team. This role provides comprehensive image interpretation, supports image-guided procedures, and delivers high-quality patient care across a variety of modalities in both inpatient and emergency settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and mammography
- Provide timely and accurate reads for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases in a high-volume environment
- Perform and/or support image-guided procedures as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of findings and reports
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and hospital standards
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience practicing as a radiologist
- Active license to practice medicine in the State of Nevada (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
Certifications (as required):
- American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required depending on assignment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in Diagnostic and/or Interventional Radiology
- Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty
- Experience interpreting across multiple modalities (e.g., X-ray, nuclear medicine, mammography)
- Proven ability to manage high case volumes with accuracy and efficiency
