Client Success Manager - Fintech/ Payments
Role: Client Success Manager
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)
Compensation: ~$100K–$120K base + bonus (flexible depending on experience)

Our client is a PE-backed payments and fintech platform experiencing significant growth. They specialize in high-volume payment processing solutions across industries including financial services, lending, eCommerce, and other complex merchant segments. The organization is scaling rapidly and building out its Client Success function to support enterprise growth.
Position Overview
This is a strategic Client Success role focused on managing and growing a portfolio of mid-market to enterprise clients. The position is responsible for driving retention, renewals, and expansion while serving as a trusted advisor on payment optimization, risk considerations, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise clients
- Drive client retention, contract renewals, and revenue expansion
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic account planning
- Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across payment solutions
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams
- Act as a primary escalation point for client issues and ensure timely resolution
- Provide consultative guidance on payment workflows, optimization, and performance
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–15+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or merchant services
- Strong background in:
- ACH, card, and/or alternative payment methods
- Client success, account management, or relationship management
- Retention, renewals, and revenue growth
- Experience working with enterprise or complex client environments
- Comfortable in compliance-heavy / regulated environments
- Ability to navigate pricing conversations and client negotiations
- Strong communication skills with experience engaging C-level stakeholders
