Note: Must be licensed to immediately practice law in Michigan and have 3+ years of litigation experience. Labor and employment law experience is preferred.

Job Description

  • Handle a variety of labor and employment litigation matters for management-side clients
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other key litigation documents
  • Support case strategy, legal research, factual development, and day-to-day matter management
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation-related proceedings
  • Work closely with clients to provide thoughtful, business-focused legal guidance
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex workplace disputes and risk-sensitive employment issues
  • Manage deadlines and caseload responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of litigation experience
  • Active Michigan bar admission required
  • Labor and employment law experience preferred
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and sound professional judgment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
