Must have at least (5) years of industrial safety experience plus a Bachelor of Science in a technical field such as safety or environmental science. 

This role will support the site EHS Manager with leading all EHS (75% safety & health, 25% environmental compliance) for a large, non-union manufacturing operation.  This role will directly supervise hourly Safety Technicians and will report to the site EHS Manager.    

Safety responsibilities include training, auditing, workers' compensation, EHS systems administration, and ongoing efforts to enhance the culture of safety and employee engagement. Maintain EHS metrics, recordkeeping, and communications. Environmental tasks general compliance in managing air quality, waste and water.   EHS activities are managed using an ISO-based platform along with reporting tools.
