Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Align defense customer requirements with internal engineering and program development priorities.

Coordinate delivery of national security briefings to inform strategic engagement.

Develop and execute a comprehensive national security market strategy aligned with revenue and mission objectives.

Lead prioritization and capture strategy across the defense opportunity pipeline.
Business Development & Capture
-
Negotiate and close national security contracts.
-
Shape and advance use cases across crewed missions, training, experimentation, testing, evaluation, and payload hosting.

Lead proposal development and cross-functional coordination.

Engage defense stakeholders across opportunity identification, mission definition, and early concept shaping.

Manage forecasting, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications

Strong ability to communicate complex technical systems to defense audiences.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, aerospace, business, or related field.

Demonstrated success securing Programs of Record.

10+ years of experience in defense business development, capture management, special programs, or defense contracting.

Deep knowledge of DoD procurement vehicles (IDIQ, OTA, FFP, CPFF, Programs of Record, SBIR Phase III).

Exceptional leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
