The Opportunity

Client Growth Resources is partnering with a respected industrial manufacturer to find a President. This leader will lead the next stage of profitable growth.

The business has a strong market position, a loyal customer base, and real room to grow. To capture that growth, it needs a multifaceted, entrepreneurial executive who can align the organization around one purpose, drive operational efficiency, and turn strategy into measurable results.

This is a hands-on role for a leader who builds trust at every level. The right person works as comfortably on the plant floor as in the boardroom. You will own sales, operations, and financial performance, and you will be expected to deliver gains the board can see in the numbers.

What You Will Do

Drive Profitable Growth

  • Set and carry out a growth strategy that increases market share, revenue, and EBIT.
  • Expand and strengthen the distributor and dealer network across new regions.
  • Build key account management programs and targeted account plans for strategic customers.
  • Launch formal performance reviews with distribution partners to improve sales, brand presence, and two-way accountability.

Optimize Operations and Cost Structure

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing efforts across production, engineering, service, and finance, including Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, and value stream analysis.
  • Find and execute cost-out initiatives through strategic sourcing and value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE)
  • Improve inventory turns, on-time delivery, and lead times through better planning, scheduling, and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Strengthen safety programs and build a culture where safety comes first.

Invest in Capacity and Innovation

  • Plan and manage capital expenditure programs of $20M or more to raise capacity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Replace stalled product development with strong Program Management and clear accountability.
  • Lead digital and technology initiatives, including ERP improvements and IoT-enabled service offerings, that create new revenue streams.

Build and Develop Talent

  • Assess, rebuild, and upgrade the senior leadership team where needed
  • Develop middle managers through training in leadership, business skills, safety, Lean tools, and key metrics.
  • Build operating discipline and open, transparent communication across the company.

Lead Transformation and Integration

  • Guide change management during periods of turnaround, acquisition, or restructuring
  • Lead M&A integration, including merging sister companies and folding acquired business segments into the core operation
  • Share best practices across diverse teams, cultures, and regions.

What You Bring
