Duration: 2+ Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Location: 100% Remote (Global Team Collaboration)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Terms: 1099 or C2C
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) Developer Consultant to focus on reducing a backlog of development work. This role will play a key part in delivering enhancements and fixes across critical supply chain operations, with a focus on Warehouse Management (WMS). Transportation and Finance modules, supporting business units in Europe and Asia. Client is a $2B+ global manufacturer in the automobile industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve a backlog of JDE development tasks, including enhancements, bug fixes, and support items
- Design, develop, and test solutions within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1)
- Work across WMS, Transportation and Finance modules to support global supply chain operations
- Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Develop and support JD Edwards Orchestrations
- Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to development standards
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development experience
- Strong experience with JDE development tools (e.g., Object Management Workbench (OMW), FDA, RDA, BSFN, Table Conversions)
- Proven experience supporting WMS, Transportation, Finance, Order Entry modules within JDE. Manufacturing is a plus.
- Proficient with EDI, including mapping tools, trading partner standards, etc.
- Expertise working in an environment with many custom objects
- Experience working in a backlog-driven or ticket-based development environment
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced consulting engagement
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams (Europe / Asia)
- Must be located within the USA and available to work 40 hours per week during US (EST) business hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Skilled with JD Edwards Orchestrator
- Experience providing international support (EMEA/APAC)
- Understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution processes
