Clinical Specialist
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, biomedical engineering, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or interventional clinical support (imaging, ultrasound, or robotic experience preferred).
- Proven ability to drive clinical adoption and support procedural success.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% (domestic), including overnights as required.
Position Summary
The Clinical Specialist (CS) plays a critical role in supporting successful clinical implementation and adoption of HistoSonics technology. This individual provides expert procedural support, ensures clinical excellence during live cases, and partners closely with commercial teams to drive sustainable growth. The CS works cross-functionally to optimize workflow integration, champion clinical best practices, and deliver exceptional results for both clinicians and patients.
Position Expectations
- Serve as a clinical expert during system implementation, physician onboarding, and live procedure support.
- Partner with Account Managers to ensure alignment on account readiness, utilization goals, and growth opportunities.
- Lead on-site execution during new site launches and technology integrations, ensuring a seamless clinical experience.
- Identify and share clinical insights to enhance performance, workflow, and overall outcomes.
- Support cross-functional collaboration between Clinical, Commercial, and R&D teams to advance adoption and procedural excellence.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with key physicians, clinical staff, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive ongoing optimization at existing sites to support procedural growth and sustainability.
