Our valued client, a consulting services provider in the technology industry, is seeking a Project Manager to work with clients on various software development projects. The client is a growing company and looking to significantly expand its team! The position is remote, anywhere in the US but must be able to support client meetings in CST. Additionally, periodic travel on a quarterly basis may be required (to work onsite with client in Baton Rouge).

The Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) for clients. In this role, you will:

  • Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to Project Management Offices (PMO) standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Work effectively in a senior, client-facing role that includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving services delivery and helps design/develop/improve the PMO.

  • Quality Assurance & Management- Policies/Process/Procedures Development
  • Client Success / Customer Satisfaction
  • Software Development including Agile / Scrum
  • Training / Mentoring Employees / Clients on Project Management Practices
  • Change Management

What you will need:

  • 5 + years of experience as a technical project manager with demonstrated accomplishments to deliver projects and other transformative initiatives with heavy change management are required to ensure success.
  • Experience in managing high risk enterprise projects through a complete project life-cycle using Agile Scrum is a must for this position
  • PMP Certification preferred; Scrum Master certification is a plus
  • 4-year Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Experience in state government is a plus
