Litigation Associate Attorney

Location: Orlando, Florida

 

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Orlando. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle complex business litigation matters within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from an ABA-approved law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
  • 2–4 years of substantive experience in complex business litigation matters, including state and federal court practice.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with substantial experience drafting pleadings, motions, and court filings.
  • Proficiency in conducting and managing written and document discovery, depositions, and preparing witnesses for testimony.
  • Experience appearing in court for status conferences, arguing motions, and participating in settlement negotiations.
  • Trial preparation experience is preferred.
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex business litigation matters, managing cases from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct discovery, draft and argue substantive motions, and prepare for depositions and trials in state and federal courts.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategies and ensure timely, effective resolution of disputes.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation, demonstrating excellent communication and advocacy skills.
  • Contribute to advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the firm’s Litigation Department.
