Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our client’s Carson, CA facility (15 min south of LAX.)

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have CNC programming and machining experience, including multi-axis machines (5-axis DMG MORI operation preferred), must have aeropsace or high-precision manufacutring experience. experience with AS9100 quality control and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Job Description

  • Program, operate, and set up CNC machines, including precision DMG MORI 5-axis and multi-axis equipment.
  • Create and optimize toolpaths using Hypermill, Mastercam, Fusion 360, and SolidWorks.
  • Perform precision machining and milling of aerospace-grade components.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using CMM (Zeiss, Polyworks, Keyence, PC-DMIS).
  • Maintain AS9100 quality standards across all machining operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering on design for manufacturing (DFM) improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR/export-controlled information handling.
  • Follow all safety and quality protocols in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven CNC machining and programming experience (5-axis preferred).
  • Proficiency with Hypermill, Mastercam, Fusion 360, and SolidWorks.
  • Experience with Fanuc NC controllers (multi-axis).
  • AS9100 quality control experience.
  • Familiarity with CMM systems (Zeiss, Polyworks, Keyence, PC-DMIS).
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and precision machining techniques.
  • Aerospace or high-precision manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to work on-site in Carson, CA.
