Senior Boiler Technician (Phoenix Metro)
Snapshot / Role Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Boiler Technician in Phoenix Metro to keep high-pressure steam systems operating safely, efficiently, and without downtime.
Impact

Maintain safe and compliant boiler operations.

Ensure steady steam for building and plant systems.

Improve system performance through expert combustion tuning.
-
Support all safety, emissions, and inspection standards.
Responsibilities
-
Operate and monitor high-pressure boilers and support systems.
-
Perform preventive maintenance on burners, pumps, and controls.
-
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
-
Tune combustion systems for safety and performance.
-
Maintain service logs and operational records.
-
Manage water treatment and blowdown processes.
-
Follow LOTO, OSHA, and all site safety procedures.
-
Support inspections and work with outside contractors.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
-
5+ years with high-pressure steam boilers (Cleaver-Brooks, Miura, Raypak, Babcock & Wilcox).
-
Strong knowledge of boiler controls, combustion, and ASME code.
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
Valid driver’s license.
-
Skilled in troubleshooting and system repairs.
Nice-to-Haves:
-
EPA 608 Universal Certification.
-
OSHA 30-hour safety certification.
-
Technical training in HVAC or mechanical systems.
-
Experience with BMS or boiler control platforms.
Compensation & Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and more. This full-time position is based in the Phoenix Metro area with occasional local travel.
