Your role with the company:
1. Implements staffing changes and identifying resource requirements, writing justifications for additional personnel, obtaining approval for changes, and coordinating the selection process with Human Resources.
2. Develops department teams by assessing knowledge gaps and identifying appropriate training.
3. Engages with internal and external customers, by meeting regularly, responding to requests and explaining procedures.
4. Interprets, designs, and executes policies that affect work processes and personnel within the assigned organizational unit.
7. Interprets internal and external indicators by reviewing reports and newsletters, reading organizational literature, meeting with peers, and reading departmental reports. Apply insights to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
8. Establishes and monitors department area budget through regular analysis of cost and spending.
Management Responsibilities
1. Lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and drive those practices throughout their organization.
2. Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
3. Direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations.
4. Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).
Desired Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
· 8+ years progressive Continuous Improvement experience within the manufacturing / medical device industry.
· Project Management experience and management experience.
