Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Information Technology to oversee and enhance our client's growing IT infrastructure. This role is pivotal in managing computer systems, telematics, and network operations, ensuring seamless performance and security across all technological platforms. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team of 4-5 IT professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Oversee the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring efficient incident management and problem resolution.
  • Install, configure, and support Microsoft Exchange services and Microsoft Cloud Solutions, including Office 365 and Azure.
  • Manage WAN and LAN operations, ensuring compliance and connectivity according to industry best practices.
  • Handle hardware and software inventory, including procurement and maintenance, with effective cost management.
  • Implement and routinely test recovery and backup procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct IT security awareness training and monitor its effectiveness through testing campaigns.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance system efficiency and minimize vulnerabilities.
  • Manage telematics application infrastructure and assist with office building security operations.
  • Provide technical support to staff, diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT department's objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 
  • A minimum of five years of relevant IT experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and project prioritization skills.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Email Messaging Systems, Network Infrastructure, and multi-location servers
  • Experience with firewalls, email security, and data backup applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with very strong customer service mentality.
