Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent; or 10 years of relevant experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment, or a combination of education and experience
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on strategic planning.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- General proficiency with computers and related software.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strategic business orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance operations, including the implementation of effective programs to maximize equipment uptime and performance.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and implement strategies to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align maintenance activities with organizational goals and production schedules.
- Develop and manage training programs to enhance the skills of maintenance staff and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a secure, productive work environment.
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets to optimize costs while meeting service delivery timelines.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and quality standards.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on maintenance activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and leadership.
