We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Engineer to join our team and support the successful execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The Project Engineer works closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to manage project documentation, scheduling, cost tracking, and field coordination while ensuring compliance with design standards, safety protocols, and project requirements.

\n\nSupport the Project Manager and Superintendent in all aspects of project execution.
\nMaintain and update project information in Procore or related project management platforms.
\nGenerate, track, and log RFIs (Requests for Information) and PCOs (Potential Change Orders).
\nAssist with the preparation, review, and processing of submittals, ensuring accuracy and timely approval.
\nCoordinate with engineers, vendors, and suppliers to release approved materials for fabrication or installation.
\nOrganize and maintain project records, logs, and documentation in compliance with company standards.
\nAssist in issuing and tracking purchase orders and subcontracts.
\nSupport in maintaining and updating the bill of materials (BOM) for ongoing projects.
\nMonitor project budgets and assist in maintaining profitability through cost control and accurate billing.
\nHelp ensure project overbillings and maintain positive % billed vs. % time metrics.
\nAssist in monitoring and updating the CPM schedule to keep projects on or ahead of plan.
\nVerify and document material deliveries to job sites.
\nSupport the Superintendent to ensure proper utilization and maintenance of field equipment, minimizing rental costs and maximizing productivity.
\nParticipate in regular project and coordination meetings.
\nPromote and enforce safe work practices through pre-planning and proactive measures.
\nSupport compliance with company, client, and OSHA safety requirements.
\nEnsure projects are executed according to contract documents, design specifications, and industry standards.
\nAssist with project startup, including documentation, preconstruction coordination, and schedule setup.
\nParticipate in project closeout, ensuring completion of punch lists, as-builts, and final documentation.
\nMaintain and track record drawings throughout the project.
\nDemonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning all aspects of water and wastewater facility construction.
\nContribute to a team-oriented environment that enhances company performance and reputation.
\nPromptly escalate any safety, quality, or performance issues that could impact the project’s success.
\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
\n2–5 years of construction experience, ideally in water, wastewater, or heavy civil projects.
\nProficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling tools.
\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\nUnderstanding of construction documentation, submittal processes, and field coordination.
\nKnowledge of safety practices and OSHA standards.
