What they’re looking for:•Master’s degree in Physical Therapy required.•Current Physical Therapist license required. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment, before patient care is administered independently.•Prefer at least 1 year experience Hours and compensation potential:•The position is full time.•Range is $40hr(83200)-$56hr(116480) depending on experience. •A full benefits package is included and a $20,000 sign on bonus with a 2 year commitmentWhat you’ll be doing:•Under general supervision of the Director of Therapy Services, organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part; helps patients reach his/her maximum performance within the limits of his/her capabilities.•Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.•Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.•Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.•Educate patients and their families about treatment options, home exercises, and injury prevention.•Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal recovery.•Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.•Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.•Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients post-treatment.What you can expect is:•Position is located an hour from Houston.•Position reports to the Director of Rehab.•Facility is about 120 beds, accredited, not-for-profit acute care community hospital along with the Rural Health Clinic.If you're a dedicated Physical Therapist seeking a rewarding career in a supportive healthcare environment, look no further.
