Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise in automation, reliability, and third-party product solutions for clients in your territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead pursuit strategies in collaboration with internal sales teams.
  • Create and maintain strategic account plans, including competitive analysis and client engagement strategies.
  • Lead diverse sales teams through project pursuits, including engineers, solution architects, and account managers.
  • Guide internal proposal reviews, ensuring alignment with pursuit strategies.
  • Act as the primary liaison for project identification, qualification, and proposal development.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with external business development teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to deliver tailored solutions to clients’ unique challenges.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, including client contacts, activities, and forecasting data.
  • Collaborate with solution architects for proposal development and strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate seamless hand-offs between sales, customer support, and engineering teams.
 
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in process industries or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous sales experience, especially in technical or consultative roles, is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and CRM/database systems (Salesforce, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with a customer-first mindset and a passion for building relationships
Travel:
  • Up to 50% overnight travel required to engage with clients and support project initiative
Physical Requirements:
  • Effective verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Visual acuity to detect and assess technical environments.
