Seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Controller to lead the financial operations of non-profit Health Information Exchange (HIE) organization. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, grants management, budgeting, audit coordination, and compliance. This is a critical leadership role that supports the mission of improving healthcare data exchange, quality, and outcomes.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting | finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or controller-level role.
  • Non-profit financial management experience required; healthcare or HIE experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal and state grant management and compliance (e.g., HRSA, ONC, CMS funding).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Blackbaud) and Excel.
  • Knowledge of fund accounting, cost allocation methods, and financial compliance requirements for non-profits.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
 
This role will sit HYBRID out of the New York, NY office.
