Lafayette is a town of about 70,000 people and is home to Purdue University and the Boilermakers. Because it is a college town, there is a good variety of restaurants and things to do. Lafayette is located about an hour from Indianapolis which has an International Airport. Chicago is about 2 hours away. This role will be based at a 250-person chemical and food additives manufacturing facility located near Lafayette, IN. You will be a member of a process engineering team doing small capital projects, process optimization and some day-to-day support. The parent company has several facilities throughout the United States and there is a defined advancement plant. The bonus target for this role starts at 5% and within 1-3 years, depending on performance, you will be promoted to a Senior Process Engineer role that has a bonus target of 20%.
