Our client, a highly regarded regional law firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Level to join their Real Estate & Commercial Development Practice Group.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active bar admission in the applicable state.
  • 6+ years of substantive experience in complex commercial real estate transactions, with a significant emphasis on negotiating leases for retail, office, healthcare, and industrial spaces.
  • Experience representing both landlords and tenants is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage transactions both independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft comprehensive lease agreements, including retail, office, and industrial leases.
  • Manage leasing transactions from initial letter of intent through finalization and post-closing matters.
  • Work collaboratively with clients’ in-house teams to support their leasing and real estate management objectives.
  • Address various lease structures, including subleases, ground leases, build-to-suit, and retrofit-to-suit arrangements.
  • Handle sophisticated lease documentation and ensure adherence to relevant legal and regulatory standards.

Compensation:The position offers a competitive salary range between $230,000 and $390,000, based on experience, along with eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.
