Job Description: Truss Designer

We are seeking a skilled Truss Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing roof and floor trusses using Alpine ITW truss design software. Key duties include interpreting architectural and structural plans, creating accurate truss layouts, and ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and customer requirements.

·       Utilize Alpine ITW truss design software to generate roof and floor truss designs and layouts.

·       Review and interpret construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements.

·       Communicate with engineers, architects, and builders to clarify design needs and resolve any issues.

·       Ensure all designs meet building codes, safety standards, and company guidelines.

·       Prepare and submit detailed drawings, material lists, and estimates for production and customer approval.

·       Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing and delivery of truss systems.

·       Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with any necessary revisions.

Qualifications

·       Experience using Alpine ITW truss design software is preferred.

·       Strong understanding of construction documents, building codes, and structural principles.

·       Excellent communication and organizational skills.

·       Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
