Are you passionate about precision and quality in the manufacturing process? We are on the lookout for a dedicated Metrologist ready to make a mark in our client's team! As a Metrologist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest technical specifications and standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Calibrate and certify test equipment to meet precise technical specifications.
• Apply inspection and testing methods to manufacture products that exceed customer expectations.
• Examine manufactured products and services to ensure they align with customer requirements.
• Develop programs utilizing Vision Systems to enhance quality control.
• Preserve and maintain the plant’s inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Create comprehensive work instructions for measuring equipment.
• Train staff on the correct use and handling of measuring tools.
• Support the development of corrective and preventive action plans.
• Conduct necessary measurements on first production parts for machine release.
• Provide customer support, including line trials, site testing, and quality notifications.
• Analyze data and prepare summaries to validate or identify deviations from existing standards.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and operators.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of injection defects and assemblies.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing plant.
• Familiarity with Vision systems or CMM
• GD&T experience
• Experience with statistical process control.
• An Associate’s Degree or higher in metrology, mathematics, science, or a related field.
• Experience in providing Quality Systems training to employees.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, QA applications, and general mathematics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality or Metrology, with a preference for experience in the plastics industry.
