A highly regarded legal team is seeking an associate to join its Antitrust practice in Washington, DC. This role focuses on M&A antitrust matters, including merger reviews and regulatory approvals under U.S. competition laws.

Position Responsibilities:

• Advise on merger reviews and antitrust clearances, including compliance with regulatory requirements
• Represent clients in transactions before U.S. antitrust enforcement agencies
• Analyze competition law issues and provide strategic counsel on M&A transactions
• Conduct research on antitrust regulatory developments and enforcement trends

Qualifications:

• J.D. from a nationally recognized law school with strong academic credentials
• Knowledge of U.S. antitrust laws and experience handling merger review processes
• Prior work with or exposure to DOJ Antitrust Division and/or FTC Bureau of Competition is a plus
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic regulatory environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary ($235,000 - $365,000) based on experience and location
