Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Project Engineer to lead and manage project implementation at our manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our instrumentation and electrical systems, ensuring project success from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design engineering support for various projects within the instrumentation and electrical domain.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work for instrument and electrical projects.
  • Assume the role of Project Team Leader when needed, ensuring successful outcomes in cost, timing, and quality.
  • Offer expert Instrument/Electrical guidance to the plant operations.
  • Provide start-up support for new equipment and installations.
  • Participate in Design Hazard Reviews and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct equipment design calculations and specify requirements for new equipment purchases.
  • Identify and organize drafting resources as required to meet project needs.
  • Develop spare parts lists for newly acquired equipment.
  • Lead project meetings and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Oversee project implementation, including field inspections and problem-solving activities.
  • Ensure adherence to the integrated management system, covering safety, GMP, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Maintain regular workplace attendance and flexibility to work extra hours if necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds to achieve common goals.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives and complete required training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in I&E Project Engineering.
  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs.
