You’ll manage a diverse portfolio, provide strategic tax guidance and planning, and engage in various research projects throughout the year. If you’re passionate about delivering superior client experiences and driving innovation in tax management, we’d love to have you on our team.Supervisory Responsibilities:• Oversee staff who help with the preparation of returns.• Maintain client and staff relationships.Duties/Responsibilities:• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns.• Provide tax planning and projections requested by clients.• Research tax issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.• Maintain an understanding and knowledge of changes in tax law by reading professional literature or attending tax seminars and training courses.• Consult with clients to develop a basic understanding of their financial affairs and the scope of their tax liabilities.• Answer calls and emails from clients in a timely manner.• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry organizations.• Transfer expertise of industry knowledge, trends, and best practices to others in the firm.• Perform other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.• General proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.• Ability to learn from previous experiences and apply knowledge to future assignments.• Quality communication between other staff and clients.• Ability to manage and develop new staff members.• Attention to detail and organization.• Be a team player.Education and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree required.• CPA nice to have, EA Required (open to JD candidates)• At least 8 full busy seasons worked in the tax profession helping to prepare and review individual and business tax returns.Benefits:• Medical insurance• Vision insurance• Dental insurance• 401(k)Additional Information:• Open to US citizens, Green Card holders, and sponsorship.
