TITLE: Manager Information Systems / IS Manager / EPIC experienceLOCATION: Centerburg, Ohio Now is your chance to join a top hospital where career growth and opportunity await you.They are committed to building healthcare teams whose care exceeds the expectations of their patients and community and are looking for individuals who share the same values.You could live or work in a small town close to Columbus, Ohio so you can be offered all the amenities of a small town and big city at the same time?If that sounds like the change you are looking for, please read on..What they are looking for:•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospital Administration or Information Technology related field.•Solid technical knowledge demonstrated by minimum of seven (7) years working experience in system administration. •2 years of experience managing an enterprise-level system or EHR (Epic).•Really looking to find someone with Epic experience as a differentiator that other current IS people do not have. •Prior experience administering Microsoft SQL Server•Prior experience managing a technical or operational team.Hours and compensation potential:•Position is full time day shift•Range is between $102K-$150K depending on experience. Full benefit package included as well as relocation up to $3,000 reimbursed with receipts(uhauls, down deposits, gas, etc).What you will be doing:•The primary responsibility of the Manager of Information Systems is to oversee the technological and non-clinical support operations of the IS Department. •The manager works collaboratively with Information Systems leadership to plan, coordinate, direct all non-clinical support operational activities and technical components of IS projects. •The manager of IS will manage Helpdesk Technicians, Network Engineer, Server Administrator, Applications Administrators, Programmer Analyst, Interface Administrator, IS Specialist and Telecommunications Specialist.•Plans, prioritizes, directs, and schedules all non-clinical application related projects and assignments.•Implementation and support of Hospital Information Systems including utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to hospital’s electronic health records or medical records applications and tools.•Provide direction, supervision and assistance to staff in their daily performance of their duties.•Conduct timely performance appraisals which contain mutually established goals.•Effectively intervene in a timely and appropriate matter when dealing with employee issue•Establishes department quality objectives and benchmarks.•Facilitate and organize meetings to improve on-going support and to identify opportunities in departmental process mapping of current & future state workflow.•Ensures system support, clinical quality, patient safety, and institutional efficiency.•Participate in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned.•Develop, implement, document, evaluate and/or maintain policies, procedures and controls.•Assist in developing strategic action plans including identification of objectives, goals and strategies.•Coach and mentor the team environment and to improve operational efficiency.•Will have 10 direct reportsAdditional info:•Join us northeast of Columbus and become part of our exceptional team dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our community.
