Snapshot / Role Overview
We’re seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Sales professional in San Diego to win work and grow long-term client relationships.

Impact

  • Drive new business for HVAC projects from $1M to $7M.

  • Build trust with general contractors, building owners, and developers.

  • Support accurate estimates and smooth handoffs to operations.

  • Grow repeat business through strong project delivery and follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue bid/build and design-build project opportunities.

  • Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Partner with estimators and PMs to prepare proposals and scopes.

  • Lead presentations and negotiate project terms with clients.

  • Track sales pipeline, close rates, and follow-up activities.

  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.

  • Stay current on market trends, competitors, and client needs.

Requirements
Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC sales experience.

  • Strong local network in the San Diego construction market.

  • Track record of selling projects $1M–$7M.

  • Comfortable with estimating tools, scopes, and takeoffs.

  • Clear communicator with a proactive, relationship-first approach.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in HVAC field work or project management.

  • Experience with design-build or negotiated work.

  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, CRM, or estimating platforms.

  • OSHA 30 or construction safety experience.
