ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – STRUCTURED FINANCE

Our client, a prominent international AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Structured Finance Practice in Washington, DC. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated financing transactions, including complex securitizations and warehouse lending facilities, within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in the District of Columbia, in good standing
  • 2–3 years of substantive transactional law experience
  • Experience in structured finance and securitization transactions strongly preferred
  • Experience drafting complex lending agreements, including warehouse credit facilities
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Soft skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate complex lending agreements and related financing documentation
  • Support securitization and structured finance transactions across a broad range of asset classes
  • Assist with warehouse credit arrangements and related collateral and financing matters
  • Manage multiple active matters simultaneously and coordinate with attorneys and colleagues across practice groups
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance to support financing structures and market developments

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $235,000-$260,000, as determined by experience and market factors
