Floater Legal Assistant

One of New Jersey’s Top Ranked Law Firms is seeking a full-time Floater Legal Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including litigation. This role provides interim coverage and support to attorneys and the firm, carrying out various administrative services and supporting attorneys across multiple practices.

Salary: $85k.

What You'll Do:

As our Floater Legal Assistant, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive administrative support to attorneys across multiple practice areas.
• Coordinating work assignments and managing multiple priorities.
• Preparing legal correspondence and documents.
• Transcribing digital dictation.
• Organizing and maintaining files and records.
• Assisting with e-filing in New Jersey and New York (preferred).
• Communicating effectively with attorneys, clients, and staff.

What You'll Bring:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, including litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of and ability to apply office software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PDF.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work across all practice areas and adapt to varying assignments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and staff.
• Experience with e-filing in New Jersey and New York (preferred).
