Job Title: Litigation SecretaryLocation: Long Island, NYSalary: Up to $95,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file legal documents, including blacklining, efile preparation, and table of contents.
  • Assist with motion practice, including drafting and formatting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate court filings, hearings, and other litigation-related events.
  • Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and court appearances.
  • Organize and maintain case files and documents.
  • Perform legal research and prepare summaries as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a litigation secretary or legal assistant.
  • Proficiency in blacklining, efile preparation, and table of contents.
  • Experience with motion practice and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with litigation software and electronic filing systems.
