A top-15 AmLaw firm is seeking a talented mid to senior-level Associate Attorney to join its highly respected Real Estate Practice Group in Atlanta. This position offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated real estate transactions and projects across multiple asset classes while collaborating closely with partners and clients in a supportive, team-oriented environment. 
 
 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing.
  • 4+ years of substantive experience in transactional real estate matters at an AmLaw firm.
  • Experience representing clients in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing transactions across all major asset classes, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use projects
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, development agreements, and related real estate contracts.
  • Lender-side financing experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with title and survey review, due diligence, zoning, land-use analysis, and entity formation.
  • Strong understanding of complex real estate and development concepts.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor junior attorneys and oversee work streams.
  • Excellent written communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines.
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent lenders, investors, developers, owners, and other clients in a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing.
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture agreements, and development documents.
  • Coordinate closings for real estate transactions, including title and survey review and due diligence management.
  • Advise clients on construction, development, and asset management matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal counsel to clients.
  • Mentor junior associates and ensure quality and timely completion of client deliverables.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Highly Competitive Salary: $265,000-$420,000, commensurate with experience.
