In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our client's financial information, contributing to strategic decision-making.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an up-and-coming senior accountant (under 10 years of experience) to join a growing organization and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger, adhering to GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Analyze and synthesize financial data from across the organization, identifying trends and potential issues.
  • Partner in the preparation of public financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, SEC filings, and regulatory reports.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Lead special projects aimed at process improvement.
  • Perform complex accounting tasks, including reconciliations, IFRS to GAAP adjustments, and flux analysis.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, safeguarding the company's financial health.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, escalating issues as needed.
  • Leverage your expertise to provide insightful recommendations impacting business operations.

 

Qualifications to thrive in this Role:

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 4+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • You excel in analytical thinking and have a strong understanding of US GAAP, with IFRS knowledge a plus.
  • You are proficient in MS Office Suite and possess data extraction skills.
  • Experience with large ERP software, ideally Oracle, is highly valued.
  • You have a proven track record of success in a private industry setting, ideally with international experience.
  • You are a critical thinker and problem solver with excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • You are passionate about learning and continuous improvement, eager to contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment.
