Compensation: $50 -$65 per hour on a contract basis

Our client is a leading car manufacturer in Irvine, CA to recruit two highly motivated Operations Auditors. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team within a well-established organization. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient and compliant business operations. You will leverage your audit expertise to identify and assess risks, evaluate internal controls, and provide valuable recommendations for process improvement.
Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive operational audits across various departments, including manufacturing, supply chain, and sales.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and prepare insightful audit reports.
  • Collaborate with management to implement audit recommendations and ensure effective follow-up.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant accounting principles and auditing standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in operational auditing or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in conducting and documenting audit procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A valid California driver's license.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification a strong plus.
