Assistant Project Manager – Roadway or Wet Utilities 

We are seeking APM to support project teams, ensuring work stays on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project schedules (Primavera) with input from PM and Superintendent

  • Track job costs, cash flow, and prepare progress estimates

  • Attend planning, pre-construction, and weekly project meetings; prepare/distribute minutes

  • Process change orders, force accounts, and back charges

  • Assist with project closeout, including take-offs, as-builts, and cost history input

  • Conduct regular site visits and support quality/safety standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3+ years’ related experience

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Primavera (Suretrak a plus)

  • Valid driver’s license; for company vehicle 

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements

  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Roadway, bridge and underground wet utilities experience a plus
