As a Production/Process Engineer, you will provide production/process engineering support to the site for ongoing production operations and new process introductions. You will also serve as a resource for implementing engineering studies, designs, evaluations, and improvements to optimize utilizations.

Key responsibilities:" Determine continuous improvement opportunities and implement improvements in the production units to optimize utilization (throughput, quality, safety, efficiency)." Assist in day-to-day troubleshooting of equipment and processes" Monitor productivity, process yields, and product and process performance to meet production commitments in an efficient manner." Develops plans and coordinates projects from inception to completion ensuring efficient implementation, timely completion, and compliance to budget." Ensure employees are trained on new and/or updated process changes and equipment design." Ensure operating procedures are current and in compliance with appropriate standards.

 

Key requirements:" Bachelor's degree, in Chemical Engineering is a MUST" 3-10 years experience as a Production Engineer or similar, preferably in high-hazard chemical plants (OSHA PSM)" Working knowledge of Process Controls System" Experience with or working knowledge of the following preferred; controls systems such as Honeywell or Allan Bradley; OE (Operational Excellence)" Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suites such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint" Strong communication and interpersonal skills
