Great opportunity for an experienced Plant Manufacturing Manager, to strategically manage and expand the operations, engineering, EHS, and businesses for the NC plant site. Will provide guidance and on-going direction to meet the highest of standards for manufacturing, SHE, quality, budgets/ finances and operating compliance. Responsibilities:
--Manage/ direct the SHQE function to ensure that all company health, safety quality and environmental management systems in line with government guidelines.--Manage and direct all manufacturing functions to ensure all NCM, Waste, Customer Complaints and Cost targets.--Develop, improve, and implement operations and production plans in line with best practice and company standards --Manage day to day operations, establish and implement policies and procedures adhering to all company global policies, laws and regulations.--Manage day-to-day quality function to ensure all standards set for products are met and root cause, corrective action and recovery of any failures identified and implemented.--Proactively drive continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing from concept to reality.--Contribute fully and effectively to the monthly senior management meetings to help co-ordinate and address issues and shape the forward direction of the business.
--Operate with a “safety first” mindset to ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
Experience:
--BS Engineering preferred with 7+ years experience in Plant/ Operations Management in chemicals, plastics, polymer, or related manufacturing plants.
--Must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of latest manufacturing and Lean improvement techniques.--Skilled to organize, manage and motivate employees, with understanding of employment law and HR.--Negotiation skills, able to negotiate with diplomacy and influence suppliers, clients and colleagues at all levels of the business.--Successful background and skills to financially manage budgets and Capital Expenditures.
