Our client, an Award-Winning Company with a global presence, is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Job Title: Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

The Reliability Engineer is a key player in implementing best practices for our esteemed client. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with diverse teams to identify, assess, and implement opportunities for reliability improvement.
  • Analyzing equipment history to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Applying root cause analysis to address issues impacting machine downtime and maintenance expenses.
  • Involvement in the selection of new equipment to ensure reliability principles are integrated into design and execution.
  • Supporting Autonomous Maintenance processes by contributing to the design of operator inspections and tasks.
  • Advocating for reliability strategies, emphasizing planned corrective and preventive maintenance over reactive approaches.
  • Participating in audits to measure reliability progression.
  • Applying reliability-centered maintenance principles for optimized equipment maintenance.

Facility RCA Process Champion:

  • Leading failure analyses to identify corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with reliability engineers from other locations to share findings and solutions.
  • Monitoring equipment MTTR and MTBF performance for reliability improvement opportunities.
  • Examining defects identified during maintenance activities for optimization of preventive maintenance.
  • Participating in new and modified equipment design and installations.
  • Assisting in spare part reviews to ensure adequate stocking levels based on consumption and failure frequency.
  • Identifying risks of obsolescence and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Introducing tools and techniques for preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Developing a world-class lubrication program and monitoring performance.
  • Supporting autonomous activities and providing skills training to operations team members.
  • Driving proactive performance through supervision of planners and participation in scheduling activities.
  • Ensuring CMMS users are trained in system utilization and auditing activity to sustain system integrity.

SAP PM Subject Matter Expert: Serving as an expert for the plant.
