Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Project Engineer with key responsibilities across multiple projects
  • Ensuring proper implementation of company and project safety protocols
  • Assisting field teams with technical and safety support needs
  • Tracking and reporting on production progress
  • Coordinating with project and safety teams to ensure clear communication
  • Developing material estimates and calculating quantities required for construction
  • Verifying field production rates and monitoring quality control for various construction materials
  • Reviewing material deliveries to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
  • Managing and preparing project submittals
  • Obtaining necessary permits and managing utility location processes prior to project initiation
  • Reviewing bid documents, project plans, and specifications

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in Heavy Civil and/or Industrial Construction
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction documents, including plans, specifications, and provisions
  • Familiarity with construction management systems such as Heavy Job is a plus

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or 2 years of relevant construction experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office applications
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, with the physical capability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings (This is a safety-sensitive position)
  • Excellent organizational skills, proactive attitude, and strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
